ESEH 2015 Panels on the Environmental History of Dictatorships

Dear Colleages,

submission ideas have been flowing in for the proposed panel on communism at ESEH 2015 and participants of this panel would like to organize a second panel focused on the environmental history of “other” dictatorships in Europe (or overseas).

Papers about Franco’s Spain, Mussolini’s Italy, Salazar’s Portugal and Greece under the Military Junta are warmly welcome and aimed to be compared with Eastern Europe’s communist regimes.

I believe these two planned sessions will be very stimulating.
